100 Reasons: Oh man, this got me sooooo excited for tomorrow at 2 mountain that I was seriously thinking about showing up late to a test. The Cardinals seemed to be the best at No. 89, but with Izzy out, I'm not sure what to expect...
On a note that has gotten slightly repetitive over the last few years, the Twins are the most loveable team in the playoffs. One third young rising stars, one third old yet big-hearted veterans, and one third kids who could be legitimately in AAA right now, 100% good people. Gotta love 'em. Twins all the way!

36. Seeing Pedro Martinez root on his Mets teammates, knowing how helpless he must feel. There's no crying in baseball, Pedro. Oh and fatfryar, damn the Twins!

Just seeing the Tigers in the playoffs for a change, instead of the Braves and Red Sox.Its the best time of the year,as all four major sports are up and running or about to be.

Its the best time of the year,as all four major sports are up and running or about to be. If the World Series were to be pushed back to November 5th, it would be the only way to have regular season/playoff NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, NASCAR, PGA and tennis highlights in the same evening. Sadly, we'll have to settle for pre-season NBA highlights for the Sundays in October.

Here's to hoping the Dodgers don't get swept right out of the playoffs as they usually do.

I liked the things about Julio Franco. The stance he uses though is just unbelievable and the crazier thing is that he hasn't changed it the entire time he has been in the big leagues!

Posted by sickleguy...... glad to see the Tigers in the playoffs than the Braves and Red Sox. Hell. I'D rather see any other team as a matter of fact, than those dreaded Yankees. The only thing I like about the Yankees being in the playoffs is the look on Jeter and the rest of their faces after a loss. Especially a whole series loss. GO TIGERS

there are very few things that are assured in life except that the A's cannot win a series , Yankees suck, and the Dodgers never do anything the easy way. But I have a good feeling about these Dodgers. They have more heart than the entire Evil Empire( except Jeter- the only yank i respect ) GO BUMS
