Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Release Lingerie Calendar.: Undoubtedly a shot across the bow of Dallas' legendary troupe. Will the Giants and Redskins respond in the latest NFC East arms race? One can only hope.
*sighs and wonders if it's too late to keep spofi from becoming a boys club*

The Eagles Cheerleader Calendar will help you keep track of the days...and nights. We haven't just pushed the envelope- we've ripped it open! Groan.

I don't want to see Washington Redskins cheerleaders. All you need to know about them is that John Riggins found flirting with Sandra Day O'Connor preferable....

Riggo was ripped as usual... the Redskinettes are just fine (though Houston and Dallas have them beat, to my displeasure) Of course, I thought the XFL cheerleaders were just fine too.

I am so very proud that my favorite team has never found the need to have "cheerleaders." Probably because they have a team worth cheering. I cringed last night when Channel 4 broke to commercial with a close-up of one of the Redskinettes. Poor thing must have applied that makeup with a bricklayer's trowel. I'm with tieguy when it comes to laughing at the irony of the Philly cheerleaders promoting themselves with a calendar while simultaneously suing for being ogled through a hole in the wall. Don't get me wrong, the players (and anyone else involved) who participated are disgusting and should be reprimanded, but the cheerleaders putting out a calendar simply says that it is okay to look as long as someone gets paid.

The amusing thing about this (and I wish I could find the link) is that this is the same Philadelphia Eagles squad that was suing because of the hole in the wall between the team's locker room and their own. [Apparently, all of the girls involved in the suit have moved on, but... still amusing.]
