Tiki should deffinately stay around for a few more years. He was one of the best backs in the league last year and now that he doesn't fumble all the time he is a legitimate MVP canidate. His team is one of the best in the league and have a real chance to go all the way and win. Good luck to them.

I,m not sure what Tiki Barber wants, but its all right there in New York.I think it was a good move to stick with Eli last year. But if he has not found out what it is to be a G Man yet he never will.Ive been a Giants Fan since the LA Rams played pittsburg in the Super Bowl. With Tiki Barber we will win it all this year.

Tiki has had it all in New York for a few years now. He knows as well as anyone what the perks are of playing here & what it takes to succeed in this market, and he's garnered an ocean of of goodwill in this town. No team in the league wouldn't want him. He's great in the clubhouse, he works as hard as anyone on improving his game year to year (remember how he used to fumble all the time? Not anymore), and he's got another few pro-bowl-caliber years in him. But sometimes you just feel the need for a change. This isn't like some other NFL stars we talk way too much about here, where he's looking to jump teams every other year because he can't find happiness anywhere. He's always been good here, and if he left now, he'd leave on good terms with the city. Actually, I'd like it if he left the Giants, because then I could hate them unreservedly.

Tiki is a choker... plain and simple.. J-E-T-S! He had his chance at a ring and he couldn't move the ball a yard against ray lewis. Retire Tiki!

Given the Jets' history since, oh, 1969 or so, I don't know how you can call anybody a choker, especially a team that's won more superbowls in the past 25 years than your team has even been to.

Retire Tiki! posted by Robb Dubbs at 3:12 PM CDT on July 29 Yeah because running backs who can rush for 1800 yards a season just fall off of the turnip truck- right?

I'm a Cowboys fan and I would love to see Tiki retire. But I'm also a football fan and I appreciate seeing a great running back do his thing. I don't think it's time for him to hang 'em up yet. J-E-T-S! Y-E-A-H R-I-G-H-T!

Robb Dubbs Tiki is a choker...plain and simple Some of these bullshit comments do get pretty old. Any true, knowledgable football fan would not say such a thing. Not only is Tiki one helluva ballplayer, he is a pretty likeable fellow. Tiki left nothing on the field that day, for you to say that he choked is bullshit, plain and simple. Whoever he ends up playing with, is a fortunate team. Your Jets could damn sure use him.

Your Jets could damn sure use him. Damn straight. Tiki would probably wind up being the best quarterback on the Jets.

Many reporters and members of the media are counting the Giants out of the playoff hunt, largely due to the other teams in the NFC East. I personally believe that the Giants have a good chance of making a big run in the playoffs- as long as they stay healthy, and Eli improves. The G Men really don't have any glaring weaknesses, and adding Lavar in the offseason only stabilizes the front seven. As for Tiki, I am excited to see how well he can perform. Jacobs is a punishing back, who was used largely in short yardage situations last year. He's a beast, who should really lighten Tiki's workload. As for Ward, he's an ok back- with blazing speed. I really hope that Tiki will stay around for a few more years.
