Die-hard baseball fans will soon have a way to be close to their favorite teams in the afterlife. : An interesting article- anyone want their casket painted?

This actually seems pretty cool. Maybe they will also go on and get licensing from the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.. Then maybe combine some teams? That would kick ass.

My god this could be my worst fear, me a die hard Packer fan stuck in a Bears casket for all eternity. I guess I'll have to be careful who I piss off.

*pre-orders Washington Nationals urn* *prays that my ashes aren't put in an Atlanta Braves one* (Throwback caskets and urns would be cool too. I'd like a Montreal Expos urn for its symbolism--seeing as how the 'Spos '94 WS title hopes went up in flames and came down as ashes.)

Stick someone in a Yankees anything and ya know where they are going.

When I first read this headline, I thought MLB had figured out a way to expand attendance by selling tickets to dead people. I mean, ascended souls wouldn't need an actual seat, I guess. And their view couldn't be any worse than the upper deck at Shea. This plan would certainly slow the necessary Lego-ization of Fenway.

And the poor souls going to hell would be sent to a never ending Cubs game.

I have a plan in place where my ashes will be dropped at various homeplates. I just hope they do a better job than the guy did with his mother's ashes at the Eagle's game. Paying for a casket that will be quickly buried doesn't make sense. A urn I can understand. Your ashes have to match the decor of the den. But what if your wife's next husband is a fan of your rival? Just hope he doesn't smoke.

For anyone who has ever been to Turner Field, you almost have to agree. Not to mention that the Braves just suck this year. Well said. Prune the hedges and rape the horses

Boy did I kick over a hornets nest. I made that statement based on a comment made to me by a Mets fan when I was in NYC. From the train we were on We could see the ball park. I asked a man if that was Yankee Stadium. His reply was yes, thats the house that Ruth built, and where satin lives. Forgive my typing tonight, I got new glasses today and about all I can see is the outline of my keyboard.

I told my relatives to bury me in the cheapest box my carcass will fit. I think I will amend that statement to "the cheapest Devils' box my carcass will fit in." I'm not sure that would go over well with my Protestant relatives though.
