F1 takes on Airforce:: Michael Schumacher takes on an Italian Eurofighter Typhoon in a series of drag races. With top speeds of 229 mph and 1,521 mph, it was a very tight race....for about 5 feet. The Ferrari did manage to squeak out a victory on the short track. But what's most intriguing is the giftshop: Imagine the possible revenue if this idea caught on in the States.
Apparently, ESPN mistakenly posted this item on its RPM domain. on preview: Bill, I was thinking the American military industrial complex would be itching to capitalize on an opportunity like this. If 'Tactical to Practical' can survive, I would imagine B-2 bomber jackets, F-14 Tomcat kitty litter, and A-10 Warthog Blu-blockers would be just around the corner.

Is it me, or does that Eurofighter Typhoon logo look a LOT like the Carolina Hurricanes logo??

I definitely need a coffee mug to go with my shining new F14. When I'm doing my rolls, jetting to 2Gs or dropping bombs on terrorists, I like to have a cool, shiny cup of joe that I can reach for.

Where's Elaine Benis when you need her......'As I strafed the local populus in my Comanche attack/recon chopper, my shielded eyes, behind U.S.Army aviator shades, honed in on a perfect parking spot near the mall entrance.'

Yeah, I can see the EuroFighter steel coffee mugs catching on everywhere because American auto racing fans just love those nutty Europeans.
