Montreal wins the Grey Cup.: And there's 16 ESPNs and of course it's not on cable. But apparently it was like one below and that's football weather and an exciting game to boot. Congrats to The Football Players Formerly Known As The Baltimore Stallions.

There are a couple of ways to see the CFL in the USA. It was almost a classic finish with the home-town Eskimos missing a two-point convert with 19 seconds left that would have sent it to overtime. It was a close game but one of the rare occasions when it wasn't more entertaining than the Super Bowl. The field was too icy to allow the players to show their best.

Yeah Fox Sports World shows CFL games in the US. I haven't gotten a chance to catch any of them yet though. Do the rules differ significantly from American Football?

Major rule differences: there are only 3 downs - less chances means more passing, but sometimes more punts the field is 10 yards longer and x yards wider (can't remember) - wider routes and end runs, plus double reverses happen more often the endzone is 20 yards deep - lots of room for pass plays in the red zone there is no fair catch, but you have to give the returner 5 yards to catch the ball, otherwise you are penalized - punt returns more likely to be brought back for a good run kicking a ball through the endzone by the field goal kicker, punter or kickoff kicker results in a single point - returners often try to carry the ball out of the endzone in close games - as well, you'll see the odd occurance of a missed field goal or deep punt being kicked BACK by the receiving team so as to not give up the point an extra player on the field compared to the NFL - wider/deeper field needs the extra man more than one man can be in motion during the snap, as long as they aren't moving towards the line - razzle dazzle plays happen more often That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I don't watch the CFL except for the Grey Cup because (as Steve-o says) it's usually the most exciting football game of the year for either league.

I think FoxSportsWorld has the rights to the CFL in the US.
